JW Designs is for the TRADE

JW Designs is YOUR INDUSTRY PARTNER

If you are a professional interior designer, architect, home stager, or licensed general contractor that works with homeowners on their design, building or improvement projects, we encourage you to look to JWD for the Trade program. The JW DESIGNS for the Trade program is for professional interior designers, architects, home stagers, and licensed general contractors that work with homeowners on their design or improvement projects and want to order a special hand crafted one of a kind item.

What Does “To The Trade” Mean?

Professional interior designer, architect, home stager, or licensed general contractors.

Have you ever visited a designer showroom or website, only to see the words “Trade Only” or “To The Trade” prominently displayed? What, exactly, does that mean?

When you visit an interior design center, you may notice that many of the showrooms are “Trade Only.” This means that the showroom does not operate like a retail store. Instead, they sell their furniture, and art exclusively through interior designers or builders. Here at JWDESIGNS we have strong relationships with many builders, architects and interior designers creating custom one of a kind items. These TO THE TRADE clients receive a discount on the items, and then (typically) mark the price of the item up before selling it to their clients. This gives the TRADESMAN a way to earn a profit on the items they sell to their clients. Additionally, the designer takes on the role of “retailer” and takes the responsibility for ordering, delivery, warranty service and more.

JW DESIGNS welcomes inquiries about creating multiple items for implementation in their projects.
