Before I go too far, I wanted to share with you an absolutely stunning place in London
Artists’ Bar
If you want to see Luxury go here
“A new destination for Londoners to be at the heart of Mayfair, Artists’ Bar will be a glamorous and sparkling area for fun evenings of champagne, seafood, and entertainment. The interior shines at every angle, from the bar’s own Lalique crystal designs and Liberace’s legendary mirrored piano, which has been meticulously restored to take pride in place. Cocktails served tableside on bespoke trolleys to create a touch of theatre, will reflect the carefully curated collection of artwork that adorns the walls.”
Is that all too spectacular? Amazing place.
Deciding the placement of the house-LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION
The most OFTEN-overlooked yet crucial step while designing a house is determining its location. We all would like a home, perhaps in the mountains or by a lake. But where is it right for you? Where the home is located on the property -front-rear-side and the house’s orientation determines its interior. For instance, Lighting and where the sunset is crucial as some sides of the house might receive greater light than others, which significantly affects the look of that side of the house, and also the light coming into the room and onto your walls and onto your art. Hence considering such factors, you should design your home correctly.
You can drive or travel all over the world, but once you find the place right for you and before starting to design your luxury dream house, you must be familiar with the building codes. Do not forget resale. Your life may change, and in five years you may want to sell it and start again. There might be different restrictions related to the construction of the house. Think about the ways of saving energy. You can add irrigation or solar heating. There is so much to think about.
Back to Light
Direct sun rays will decrease the heating costs in a colder climate, whereas if you live in the south in a hot environment, having a shady location will be beneficial. Weather is important as is the terrain and foliage. Already having trees on the property is great as tall trees help to provide shade and act as a barrier against the wind.
Landscaping
Landscaping is important too. The plants which grow larger are important and small things will grow into more significant trees that will block all the sunlight.
The terrain is important as well. Having hills on your acreage or the lot will affect sewage lines and drainage. And if you need your own septic tank or city-provided sewer line hook-up possibilities. If your house is located at the bottom of the mountain, remember everything runs downhill, including water runoff, and then the flow of rainwater should be away from home. Otherwise, it will affect the foundation of your beautiful new home place.
If your house is at the top of the hill, installing a sewage pump would be essential. Both will add cost to your overall budget. It is important to consider how you will have access to the home. It will increase the cost of traveling if it’s located far from the workplace and market stores.
Lightening
One of the most important things to consider while designing your own luxury home is lighting. This is an essential component that sets up the tone of your house. Brighter and lighter colors cheer up your mood and bring happiness, whereas specific sober colors may dull the room’s vibe.
The color you select for the walls and the texture of the paint matter a lot, and it is important to your home, your furnishings, and your art, as they play a crucial role in the lighting arrangement of your home. Today there are so many types of lights and LED lights that it is an awesome task to think about exterior and interior lights. Automation of lights can change the look and modernize the look of both the exterior of your home and all your rooms. Lighting plays a key and very important vital role in ensuring the pleasing aesthetics of the room. While considering the inside is one factor, know that the lighting side of your home, it is also essential to consider outdoor lighting, as low key or target lights will give your home a luxurious look.
Deciding on Furniture and ART
I read this article House Digest and decided I could not have said it better myself.
“If you've spent a lot of time and effort putting together each room in your home, then you'll want to put just as much thought into choosing artwork. As designer Tara Bernard told Architectural Digest, "For me, art to a room is like punctuation to a sentence; it is that all-important ingredient, and without it, a space lacks the layers and attitude that a significant piece can bring."
However, when it comes to picking out certain pieces, there are some issues that you might think are obvious (but may be more important and intricate than you assumed), while there are others that you might not have even considered. But don't let that scare you away from creative décor. In fact, if you know what you're doing, picking out art can be exciting and fun! Read on to find 15 easy tips for choosing the perfect artwork for your home.”

I will digress a moment and touch on a few things to think about when planning your dream home.
Design of your home Think Solar and the Environment
Considering the current focus on climate change and the developments in the world that affect our planet is important to consider the environment. Currently, as you plan and think about heat and cooling, looking forward to more sustainable options for your home is so important.
Many builders and construction companies freely review their plans to consider the issues. It is important you plan, and it is essential to select the design before planning to start the process.
What do you want in a home?
The house should reflect your desires and needs, and requirements, and you should take the time to plan and give yourself some time to think. You should make your preference flexible and be ready to change it according to your income, choice, and tastes.
Style
No matter what your preferences are, from ranch to bungalow or modern houses with large windows, I have found that muted colors, plus clean lines are important in any style. Materials for building are crucial, and if you choose wood or brick or concrete and steel, you have to plan all the details. Sometimes people simply go looking for an already built older home or a new neighborhood where they like the style of home based on a builder's models.. Another significant difference is the floor style. I love wood, but ceramic and tile are wonderful also. In a traditional design, your total space is divided into different rooms.
Contemporary or Modern Have Fun In Your Choices
Craftsmanship
A Craftsman house is a popular home style that emerged from the American Craftsman movement of the turn of the 20th century that spanned everything from architecture to interior and landscape design, in addition to applied and decorative arts.
But there is another type of Craftsmanship to consider: how something is made. The craftsmanship of the building and the interior finishing, i.e., molding, trim, etc., is something some people overlook, and it is a factor that can add to a home's feeling and appearance. The main focus of your style is to select materials that work well together. Think of yourself sitting outside. Will it be on a porch or a patio, or a deck? Wide front porches can be made up of bricks or stones that support tapered wood pillars that can support low-pitched roofs. If this is your choice, it will be more suitable for warmer climates. In the Craftsman style house. The exterior of the houses includes all features and details, and the interior is fully wide-open and accommodates different floor plans.
Art Deco History of Art Deco Design
House Beautiful provides some wonderful information

The Early Days (the early to mid-1920s): New Moderne (the term for Art Deco until it got the catchier moniker in the 1960s) became popular at the French exposition in 1920 as a backlash against the more traditional designs that were so popular at the time. The movement, which grew out of the more decorative Art Nouveau, combined many styles of the time, including Cubism and Viennese Succession. Art Deco began to take off within the fashion and jewelry industries, which then influenced furniture design and informed the architectural movement. Deco architecture was intrinsically tied to art and social movements of the time:”
Art deco homes are very loud and bold. Most of the houses with art deco are known for the flat roofs that are used them. The style works well in warmer and tropical climates, and the simple architecture of the house is timeless in specific ways.
Kitchen of your home
For me, the kitchen is the most important room; to others, the Kitchen is one of the essential rooms in the house. Ensure the kitchen provides easy access to storage and all your dishes and utensils. Think about having a pantry.
Manage your house according to your lifestyle
Dream and look and plan but it is essential to customize your home design interior and exterior according to your lifestyle; hence the house must represent your real lifestyle, not just your dream. Think beyond yourself as size may change. Considering how big or small a home you want, start with how many family members you have; right now, you can easily customize it according to your needs as you dream of the future.
Budget
Champagne taste is fine but you can do so much with an elegant, simplified taste. Budget is the most crucial factor when considering any purchase while you consider finding or building your dream house. Facilitate the process, break the total budget into parts and do what you can afford a little at a time. I have a friend who bought her land and then built her own small trailer mini house on it so she could plan and dream on location. She uses her resources properly. By taking suggestions from an expert, you can find the best options. Talk to friends and professionals.
Budgeting includes the home and the furniture, landscaping, decking, pavement, etc.; to me, the art inside is crucial. Surround yourself with things you love.
Insurance
Everything must be insured, from the house to the contents. Most people skip this insurance part and then regret it later. Insurance is designed to help you in the financial crisis you might face while building your luxury dream house. You can get various types of insurance policies that act as a cushion against financial mishaps.
Resale value
You found or built your perfect home, and then time passes, and life changes you will want to scale up or down. No matter how much you love your new home, you must consider the uncertainties that your life might change, and you need to plan for the future. The real estate market adds uncertainty in the future. Wait until you get interest rates to match your income.
Understand the market condition and prevent upgrading anything in your home that might hike up the prices so that you will not be able to get that money out. Evaluating the resale value before using money in a project is essential.
